Like everywhere else in the world, the coronavirus also poses great difficulties for the UWC movement. Travel restrictions, social distancing, overburdened visa authorities and so on have hit the UWCs right in the heart: For many of the current students, it is still uncertain whether they will be able to start their two-year education at the UWC this month.
The current situation demands enormous resilience and flexibility from all of us. At this moment, all colleges are planning to open their doors for the school year 2020/2021, some with a delay as the entry restrictions and quarantine policies of many countries remain a major challenge.
